Background

Mikołaj Salecki is the editor-in-chief of Mediovsky, an independent journal of media, technology, and AI business. He started it in 2026 to write the article he kept wanting to read as a practitioner: one that shows its sources, checks its numbers, and says plainly when a number was made up to make a point.

He is a former agency lead and works as a digital consultant, helping companies with the day-to-day of their digital, from planning to shipping. That is the background the writing comes from, and the reason it is skeptical of frameworks that read better than they perform.

He is the author of the ADAM Framework, a diagnostic that plots a business across four pillars (AI, digital, automation, and measurement) on a five-level maturity ladder, published as a free playbook. He writes across paid media, search, marketing technology, and the measurement problems that sit underneath all three.

Consulting

Client work runs through a one-person studio covering the day-to-day of digital, from planning to shipping. The ADAM Framework, its 4×5 diagnostic, and the free playbook live there too.

How-To Guides

Let the AI write the script. Don’t let it decide what the script does.

Google Ads scripts still earn their keep in 2026 doing deterministic, boring work: budget alerts, zero-conversion flagging, out-of-stock pausing. AI can now draft them from a sentence. The judgment about the rules is still yours, and that’s the whole point.

Digital Marketing

60/40 was an average. You turned it into a commandment.

The most cited number in marketing came from analyzing 996 campaigns and taking the mean. It was never a law, and applying it to a three-year-old brand burning runway is how good research becomes bad strategy. The rule is real. The dogma is the problem.
