Mediovsky is an independent journal of media, tech, and AI business, written for professionals who actually run digital, not for those who read about it.

It is built around a weekly cadence: a cover essay anchored by shorter pieces (how-to guides, data analyses, opinion, and the occasional review).

We are not a news outlet. We do not cover funding rounds, executive moves, or vendor announcements unless we have something useful to say about them.

Why it exists

Most marketing publications are vendor blogs in disguise. Most independent newsletters are vendor blogs that have just opened a Substack. We started Mediovsky to write the article we wished our last vendor had written for us, before they sold us on the thing that didn't work.

The premise has never changed: write the article you wish your last vendor had written for you, before they sold you on the thing that didn't work.

If that sounds like you, you are the reader we write for.

Manifesto

Six commitments we hold ourselves to. If we ever break them, send us an email.

  1. No paid placements on the homepage. Ever. If something is sponsored, we say so clearly, and it is not the headline.
  2. No native advertorial. Sponsored content does not exist on Mediovsky. We are a journal, not a content shop.
  3. Sources are linked. If we cite a number, you can click through to where it came from.
  4. Numbers are checked. See methodology. If we made one up to make a point, we tell you we made it up.
  5. Corrections are public. See corrections. We post them with the original article, not in a footer.
  6. Reader email goes to the author. Not a help desk. Not a triage bot. You write to us, we write back.

How we fund it

Mediovsky is built to be reader-supported. The intent is simple: the weekly newsletter and occasional reader donations fund the editorial work. Any sponsored placement in the newsletter will be clearly labeled and never on the homepage. And we won't run the same advertiser twice in a row.

We do not take money from vendors we have covered editorially in the past 90 days, and we do not cover vendors we are about to take money from in the next 90 days.

By the numbers

No inflated audience figures here. Just the honest state of a young publication. When we add analytics, real readership numbers will replace this section.

  • 35 published articles across 9 editorial channels.
  • Launched in 2026. Still early. Every channel now has at least one piece, several just one.
  • One editor, currently. Occasional guest contributors, clearly bylined.
  • Consent-first measurement. Google Analytics and Google Ads remarketing run only if you allow them in the cookie banner, never before, and never a number we can't stand behind.
