By using Mediovsky (visiting the website, reading the newsletter, or contacting us), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
These terms form a legal agreement between you and Mediovsky, operated by Mikołaj Salecki, Warsaw, Poland.
Scope
These terms cover:
- The website at mediovsky.com and any subdomains.
- The weekly newsletter and any other email communications we send.
- The RSS feed, sitemap, and other automated outputs.
- Any future content we publish under the Mediovsky name.
Acceptable use
You may use Mediovsky for personal and professional reading. You may not:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the website or its infrastructure.
- Probe for or exploit security vulnerabilities (responsible disclosure is welcome: see contact).
- Send automated traffic beyond reasonable use.
- Impersonate Mediovsky, its editor, or its contributors.

Newsletter subscriptions
The newsletter is free. By subscribing, you agree to receive the weekly issue and occasional editorial updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. We delete your subscription within seven days. We do not require an account to read articles on the website.
Intellectual property
All editorial content on Mediovsky (articles, essays, illustrations, charts, code samples, and design) is copyright © Mediovsky unless otherwise stated. The Mediovsky name and logo are trademarks of the operator.
You may not republish full articles, reproduce charts, or use the logo without prior written permission.
Quoting & citing
You may quote freely under the following terms:
- Up to approximately 150 words per article.
- With clear attribution to Mediovsky and the article's author.
- With a clickable link to the original article when published online.
- Without alteration that changes the meaning of the quoted text.

AI training & scraping
You may not use Mediovsky content to train, fine-tune, or otherwise build AI or machine-learning (ML) models without prior written agreement. This restriction is reinforced by our llms.txt directive at the site root.
Automated scraping for commercial purposes is prohibited. Personal reading via a feed reader, archiving for your own reference, or academic citation is permitted.
User content
Content you submit to Mediovsky (via the contact form, pitch submissions, or any future comment/response feature) may be used by us to respond, edit and publish (if a pitch), or improve the service. You retain ownership of your submission. By submitting, you grant Mediovsky a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the submission for the purpose you submitted it.
Do not submit confidential, defamatory, or unlawful content. We may remove or refuse to publish anything at our discretion.
